Devenish Nutrition Sponsored Student Graduates with First Class Honours

Devenish Nutrition would like to offer their congratulations to Cathy Davis who graduated from UCD with a first class honours degree in Animal Science on 5th July 2010. Cathy received the €20,000, 150 Scholarship for entering her degree programme with the highest marks in a specified Leaving Certificate Examination. In Cathy’s case this subject was Biology.

The €5000 per year across the 4 years of the course allowed Cathy to complete modules including Animal Biology, Animal Nutrition, Genetics and Biotechnology. Devenish Nutrition were one of eight sponsors. The sponsors are all employers of graduates of the BAgrSc Programme.

A delighted Cathy commented:
“The 150 Scholarship has contributed greatly to my experience in 3rd level education and I am certain I would not have experienced half of the things I had the fortune of completing without it. It has taken any financial worries from my mind and helped me cover the cost of registration fees, expensive college books and study abroad fees. The scholarship has also enabled me to focus on my studies and keep a high grade point”.

Devenish Nutrition would again like to offer their congratulations to Cathy and wish her the very best in her bright future ahead.
