15th August 2011

On Saturday 24th September, 18 members of staff from Devenish Nutrition are taking part in the Slieve Donard Challenge to raise money for the Simon Community. Slieve Donard, part of the Mourne Mountains, is Northern Ireland’s highest peak at 850m

The Simon Community are a voluntary organisation based in Northern Ireland which provides emergency accommodation, advice and community support for people who are homeless or who are at risk of becoming homeless.

The team is hoping to raise £1,100 from this challenge, and all donations would be gratefully received. You can give online by visiting www.justgiving.com/DevenishNutrition or alternatively by sending a cheque made payable to Devenish Nutrition Ltd with a reference to the fundraising. Many thanks in advance.

This is one of a number of events that Devenish have completed this year to raise money for the charity and all money raised by staff is being doubled by Devenish Nutrition. Staff have so far taken part in the Belfast Marathon Relay Event and also held ‘Dress Down Friday’s.

Make sure to return for an update and pictures of the event in late September!!!.
