SmartLPL is a cost-effective dietary emulsifier aimed at improving fat digestion and utilisation, improving bird performance and reducing the cost of poultry feed.
SmartLPL contains a highly concentrated source of hydrolysed lecithin in a powdered form. SmartLPL contains up to 55% hydrolysed lecithin on a silicate carrier and a minimum of 8% lysophospholipid.
When added on top, SmartLPL delivered a significant improvement in bodyweight gain and feed intake whilst maintaining Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR). The trial also showed a significant improvement in uniformity.
When compared to a broiler diet with reduced dietary energy (- 65 kcal/kg), SmartLPL diets significantly improved body weight gain, feed intake and EPEF. This shows that the 65kcal matrix uplift is a conservative matrix value.
SmartLPL should be fed using the following inclusion rates:
Broilers - 0.25 - 0.50 kg/MT
Breeders/Layers - 0.25 - 0.50 kg/MT
Turkeys - 0.5 - 1.0 kg/MT
