Devenish Nutrition Ltd has received an Invest NI Grant for Research and Development, supporting company innovation in services, products and processes. Part financed by the Investment for Growth and Jobs Programme for Northern Ireland co financed by the European Regional Development Fund. The project "Investigative in vitro and in vivo studies on new feed supplements for anti-activity against rotavirus in animal species" will be implemented over the next three years and aims to, in conjunction with Devenish, QUB and AFBINI, expand research findings on the anti-viral effects of novel feed supplements on rotavirus as a possible tool for the reduction of viral load in the gut of neonates, leading to reduced clinical disease.
